It seems like yelling at fans who attend your show may be becoming a trend among celebrities!

Just following his set at the Alonzo Mourning’s Summer Groove show in Miami on July 22, Dave Chappelle received an immense amount of backlash regarding the horendousness that became of his show. Early on in the show, Chappelle caught sight of an audience member taping him and for the rest of his time on stage, proceeded to pick on him and ceased to tell any jokes, “and basically just sat around checking text messages,” reports Perez Hilton. Sound familiar? Has Chappelle been drinking some Tiger Blood?

“This Dave Chappelle set is bizarre. He’s spent more time going back & forth with one audience member, & pretty much stopped telling jokes,” CNN contributor Roland S. Martin commented on the show. “I’m just not understanding what threw him off. He’s complained about folks videotaping his set, yelling out loud. I don’t get it.” He continued, saying, “Chappelle says this is a ‘test of wills.’ He keeps saying ‘tick tock’ & he has ‘nothing but time.’ He’s just staring at the crowd & sighing…He’s been on stage 46 minutes & told one joke.”

At his show the following night, on July 23, Chappelle quickly addressed his “bad attitude” the previous night. Perez Hilton has reported that he came forward regarding the event earlier today, but has not yet reported the nature of his apology.

Seriously, what on earth happened on that stage? We know you’re better than that! But what I don’t understand is why celebrities have been lashing out at audience members lately! On July 12, Foo Fighter front man Dave Grohl kicked out a couple of rowdy audience members during their show in London, saying, ““I don’t put up with that bull**** – you people came here to have a good time and that guy can **** off.” Only difference is, while Grohl’s outburst was at least a little justifiable, Chappelles behaviour is just mind boggling. I wonder if we will ever hear a real apology? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

Or should we say, “Celebrities Tweet the Darndest Things.” In this case, however, they are using their powerful voices in the Twitterverse for good.

It seems that among the 1 million who tuned in to CNN on July 5 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. to watch the verdict of the infamous Casey Anthony murder trial were a few celebrities, including Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian.

“You know the world is skewed when people get away with murdering children but we cant get gay marriage legalized in the state of California,” tweeted the former Hannah Montana starlet while on the last leg of dates in her Gypsy Heart Tour. Burn! But we can’t scold Cyrus too much, because as harsh as her statement is, it kind of makes you put things into perspective.

What was more interesting, however, was the response to Kardashian’s “WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!” reaction tweet following the trial. Many compared this trial to that of OJ Simpson’s, and how he was found not guilty with the help of Kardashian’s father as his defense lawyer.

“Reading the comments here &its nuts people think just bc I was close to the OJ Simpson trial I can’t have my own opinion on the Casey Anthony case?” tweeted Kardashian shortly after. While people might think that Kardashian was automatically tied to the outrageous outcome of the OJ Simpson trial, it is absolutely unfair for people to connect it to this one. Everyone is entitled to share their opinions and reactions, and that includes Kim Kardashian, no matter who her father is or whom he might have helped in any former trial.

All we can say is, good for you two, Miley and Kim, for getting your voices heard and not backing down without a fight! Keep using Twitter for good and sharing your thoughts – we wouldn’t want it any other way!

Just when you thought he fell of the face of this earth, Wilmer Valderama comes back to give everyone a piece of his mind regarding none other than ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. And boy does he sound pissed.

Following Lohan’s latest scandal – the hard-partying actress just nearly escaped a jail sentence on Wednesday after failing an alcohol test yet again on – her ever-loyal ex made it very clear that he still believes Lohan should be given another chance. Right, because the last 576 ones weren’t enough. Okay, slight exaggeration, but you get the point.

“Sometimes people have to go through things,” Valderama told People Magazine at the “Cars 2″ Premier. “We all understand that, and we all deserve a second chance. I’m not worried about her at all. I think she’s going to get through this because she is ridiculously talented. When you love once, you always will, and you have to care.”

The couple broke up back in 2004, when Lohan was 18 and Valderama 24 – just around her Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls days – so it’s a wonder why he is coming out of obscurity now to make this statement. However, it is kind of sweet that he still cares so much about her – after all, she was quite a catch once upon a time!

As must as she seems more and more of a lost cause with every passing day, we can’t help but hope that maybe Valderama is right, and that this phase – if you could even still call it that after all this years – will pass and we will be able to see Lohan once again, doing what she does best and using her talents for good.

Until then, we know where to find you – on the rooftop of your Venice beach home behind the bamboo fence you just put up so that paparazzi can’t take pictures of you doing things you don’t want your parole officer to find out about. Smart tactic!

When Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital on June 9 shortly after a taping at the Tonight Show, complaining of nausea and a sever headache, many feared for her health and wished her a quick recovery. When she returned to the hospital two days later and pinned off her sickness as a result of malnutrition, many feared that she would be following in the footsteps of her long-time friend and co-Disney spawn Demi Lovato, who checked into rehab a while back due to emotional and physical issues, one of them being an eating disorder.

Gomez was quick to clear up any speculation or rumors surrounding her recent illness, including an eating disorder and, as crazy as it sounds, a possible pregnancy scare brought on as a joke by none other than Perez Hilton himself. While  on the Kidd Kraddick radio show, Gomez said, “I do eat! The problem is is I don’t eat right…I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”

As much as we are prone to taking everything celebrities say with a grain of salt, I think in this instance we can actually believe Gomez when she says she does not have an eating disorder. Not to mention the fact that she has an amazing mom who will no doubt keep her in line. “She’s been supermom right now,” Gomez said. “She’s definitely shoving vitamins down my throat and following me around.”

On Kidd Kraddick, Gomez also confessed to loving junk food, including M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers, and Goobers. “I have to have creamed spinach,” she added, “or I have to have cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy.”

Whatever the case, we are extremely happy that it is not an eating disorder that Gomez is battling with, but rather a mere case of wanting to eat too much unhealthy food.

What’s interesting to point out is that in the June/July 2011 issue of Teen Vogue, of which Gomez adorns the cover, Gomez told Lauren Waterman that she recorded her single, “Who Says,” for her fans, saying, “I just thought they needed it, because of bullying.” And it was bullying that caused Gomez’s fellow Barney and Friends pal, Lovato, to take a downward spiral full of eating disorders and self-mutilation.

“I’ve spoken openly about being bullied  throughout the past few years, but one thing that I’ve never been able to feel comfortable talking about was the effects that it had on me afterward,” Lovato told ABC News in an interview. “I literally didn’t know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, ‘Well, you’re fat.’”

It seems maybe Gomez had a double-incentive when putting out that particular single. Regardless, we are extremely happy to see her back on her feet and performing, not missing a beat and doing all she can not to let her fans down. We just can’t wait to see her co-host this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards on June 19!

We all know Lady Gaga’s infamous meat dress she wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and now the dress is heading to the Rock Hall Of Fame, reports the Chicago Tribune.

The dress, which raised a few eyebrows, was designed by Franc Fernandez and Nicola Formichetti, Gaga’s personal stylist and creative director of Thierry Mugler.

It also infuriated many animal activists, including Peta, who said of the dress: ”Meat is the decomposing flesh of a tormented animal who didn’t want to die, and after a few hours under the TV lights, it would smell like the rotting flesh it is and likely be crawling in maggots — not too attractive, really.”

Although the dress didn’t receive much praise from the fashion industry, it will be showcased at the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland on Thursday as part of its current ‘Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power’ exhibit.

The museum says the exhibit “highlights the flashpoints, the firsts, the best, the celebrated — and sometimes lesser known women — who moved rock and roll music and American culture forward.”

My question is how are they preserving the dress? Did they freeze the meat? The exhibition is only one day long, so will they just toss it when it’s done? I think it should be auctioned for charity, and then someone can do whatever they want with it. Eat it, wear it, preserve it.

Well, if that isn’t a cover, I don’t know what is.

Emma Watson looks stunning on Vogue’s July cover next month. She’s one of the few that can pull off the short hair look, and is definitely rocking it here. It’s a fresh change from Vogue’s usual boring covers – it’s risky, it’s eye-catching, and it’s unique.

In the magazine, the actress reveals that James Franco and Daniel Radcliffe have both been huge supporters in times of trouble.

Franco was apparently a huge help on how to get an education while maintaing a career as an actor.

“It was such a relief to speak to someone who is trying to do the same thing I’m doing,” she told the magazine. “I talked to him about juggling studying and making films and going backward and forward. He’s not afraid or limited by what he fears people will say about it.”

Meanwhile, Radcliffe was apparently playing Cupid to her recent flames.

“We would help each other with relationship advice,” Radcliffe says. “Particularly funny were the moments when we would help each other compose texts to the most recent flames in either of our lives (not too flirty, but not too subtle either!).”

“It was certainly a case of the blind leading the blind, but it was extremely funny.”

Watson is a true class act, and she looks gorgeous here. Well done, Vogue.

The MTV Movie Awards were last night, so of course, all of Hollywood’s leading ladies were out to show off their outfits and what not. Some great, some not so great.

Overall, the red carpet was a little boring. Nobody really pushed the envelope or delivered a ‘wow factor.’ The best outfits were really only ‘cute,’ meanwhile the bad were disastrous. I get it, it’s not the oscars, but I think a little more effort could have been put into it. Photos courtesy of MTV.

Then, we have the not so great. We have Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen (it looked a little young on her, no?), Emma Stone in Bottega Veneta (unlike Reese, it was too old on her), Katie Cassidy in Catherine Malandrino, and Jessiza Szohr in Alice + Olivia (there are no words, just so, so bad.)

Singing sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are going to launch a tween clothing line, reports Billboard.

The line will be launched under the ‘Jessica Simpson Collection’ label and will include everything from sportswear to denim to fashion-forward pieces. The line will hit stores in the fall.

Jessica and Ashlee will reportedly serve as the collection’s co-creative directors.

“Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” Jessica told WWD.

Ashlee adds, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

Scoff not at this idea, though. Jessica’s adult clothing line, titled ‘The Jessica Simpson Collection’ and features virtually anything from shoes to handbags, racked in a total of $750 million in 2010.

I think the line will do well, as all of Simpson’s clothing ventures do. I think she markets it right, prices it low, and creates items that appeal to a large demographic.

Brit singer Lily Allen has released a clothing line called ‘Lucy in Disguise,’ which is a vintage inspired line that Lily designed with her sister Sarah Owen.

The duo debuted their line last week at department store Harvey Nichols, and their clothing will begin being sold on June 6, reports Perez Hilton.

The line, unlike many celeb clothing lines, seems to have a very good concept and look. It’s very her style, but it remains marketable to many other women. Some of the pieces are a little risky, like the red jumpsuit or ruffled black dress, but if that’s your kind of style, you can totally rock it.

After announcing their engagement on May 18, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have been the target of all gossip. Of course, that has nothing to do with the fact that Kim has been flaunting her stunning, $2 million, 20.5k engagement ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz, at any chance she could get. Of course not.

The most recent news about the soon-to-be-wed couple? TMZ is reporting that Kim plans to change her last name from Kardashian to Humphries once she and her boyfriend of seven months tie the knot. Quite a gutsy move for someone whose whole career revolves around her last name.

Take Paris Hilton for example. Would anyone really have signed up to be a contestant on My New BFF if her last name wasn’t Hilton? Most likely not. I mean honestly, the fact that she had to have a show in order to find a best friend is quite sad. I guess that’s what happens when you get into a fight with Nicole Richie!

“I don’t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries … She needs to be Kim Kardashian because she’s worked so hard to get where she is,” Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, told Popeater.com recently.

However, one could definitely see this as a sign of maturity. Perhaps Kim realizes how hard she has worked and finally feels comfortable enough that she no longer needs to hide behind the Kardashian name. Maybe it’s time for her to step out of her family’s shadows and just be Kim Humphries. If that’s the case, who could blame her?

Whatever the case, Kim and Kris seem to be very happy together, and we can’t wait to see all the pictures from what is sure to be a fairytale wedding. And from what sources close to Kim are saying, the wedding could be much sooner than we would have thought! According to Perez Hilton, the source said:

“The wedding is going to be at the end of July or the beginning of August. The reason they’re rushing it is because they want to do it before the basketball season starts again, so that they have time to have a romantic honeymoon! She wants it to be very traditional, huge and formal.”  We wouldn’t expect anything less!

With recent news of Taylor Momsen and Jessiza Szohr getting axed from ‘Gossip Girl,’ I thought I would do a ‘Top 5: Annoying TV Characters’ post.

These characters are in every show. That one character that likes to messes things up. That one who makes you scream at the television set. Or the just plain stupid. There are too many to name. But I’ve rounded up my top 5 picks of annoying television characters – hope you agree. I think you will.

1. Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen.

First up on the list is ‘Gossip Girl’ Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen. I’m pretty sure everyone can agree that her character is the most annoying character to ever appear on a television show, ever. From her  sulking, goth appearance, to her brief stint as a preppy Constance mean girl, Jenny was always a follower, and never an individual. She cried, she complained, and she wore fishnet stockings. Good riddance.

2. Marissa Cooper, played by Mischa Barton.

Next up is Marissa Cooper from ‘The O.C.,’ played by faded starlet Mischa Barton. Like Jenny, Marissa was always causing trouble. Whether in abusive relationships, dealing with substance abuse, or just all-around  a clingy kind of gal, Marissa made you want to shake her and say ‘wake up!’ Sure, she was pretty and rich, but that didn’t make up for her deeply damaged soul. She eventually got killed off, and the show tanked.

3. George O’Malley, played by T.R. Knight.

Third on the list is ‘Grey’s Anatomy’s’ George O’Malley, played by T.R. Knight. George spent more time crying about his personal issues than curing medical cases. He was worse than the female doctors. Yes, the  show is a hit because of its mix of medical drama and soap-like personal issues, but George took this to a whole other level. He eventually got killed off, too (notice a trend?) but the show went on without him. And  with good reason.

4. Swiper, From ‘Dora The Explorer.’

Don’t lie, we’ve all witnessed an episode of ‘Dora The Explorer’ at one point in our life. Whether babysitting or being too lazy to switch the channel, we’ve encountered Swiper, the fox that likes to steal things. No matter how loud you scream ‘Swiper, no swiping!’ the bastard seems to always get away with things. He messes everything up and delays Dora’s adventure, and for that, he’s number four on my list. Sly little fox, you.

5. Roseanne Barr, Played by Roseanne Barr.

It doesn’t matter who I ask – everyone hates Roseanne. Debatably the most annoying show and annoying family, Roseanne takes the cake with her super-loud-mouth character. Literally, all she does is complain. Her loud nasally voice doesn’t help either. She’s obnoxious, she’s lazy, and she’s immature. And the sitcom’s reruns are always on the damn television. Why are good shows being cancelled and replaced with reruns of this clownery? Sigh.

The band hit the ground running when they followed up their acclaimed EP with ‘Say Us’, an unstoppable foray into 1970′s inspired rock and roll that landed the band a spot on the Polaris Prize long list. Critics have been very kind to the Toronto quartet, although they often emphasize the nostalgic sound. Wait, is that what I’ve done right here? I guess so, huh.

Jamie Lidell has released yet another genre-bending album, but it sounds a little rougher this time around. Perhaps that can be partially attributed to Beck, who, after collaborating with Jamie for his Record Club project (google it!), encouraged and helped produce his latest LP “Compass”. Jamie discussed embracing sonic rawness, and spoke to us about some of the other allstars that helped with this latest record.

Caribou’s latest album ‘Swim’ is an experimental, wobbly dance record that has already received considerable praise – much to Dan’s surprise.

Ernest Greene is a humble bedroom producer who has suddenly and unexpectedly been thrust into the spotlight, thanks to endless internet buzz. The one person who seems to be the most silent about this popularity explosion is Ernest himself. Needless to say, it was pleasure to hear his perspective on Washed Out.
