| Biography: | Kelly Brianne Clarkson was born on April 24 1982 in Burleson, Texas. Kelly?s singing abilities were first noticed when she was in the 7th grade when her schools choir teacher heard her incredible voice, and convinced her to join the choir. After she finished high school, Kelly went to Hollywood to try and make a name for her self. In Hollywood, she appeared on the show Sabrina, The Teenage Witch as an extra, however, no other opportunities had come up. It wasn?t until Kelly?s audition for Fox?s first American Idol, when she was finally nationally heard. Along with her vocal talents, Kelly?s sweet personality and great sense of humor, allowed her to become America?s very first Idol.
