Justin Timberlake, born January 31, 1981, played a huge part in the 90?s pop craze. His boy band N Sync, was one of the few to join the explosion of pop artists during their era. Alongside N Sync were the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, the Spice Girls, and Hanson.
Along with Britney, Christina, and N Sync member JC Chasez, Timberlake started out on Disney?s Mickey Mouse Club. Justin and JC remained friends, and eventually went on to start N Sync with the additions of Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. The band released their first album in 1998 and went platinum very quickly, with their hit songs ?I Want You Back? and ?Tearing Up My Heart.? Their second album, No Strings Attached was released in 2000 and was even more successful, reaching double platinum status within its first week. The band released one more album, Celebrity, before Justin went solo and released his debut album, Justified, in the fall of 2002.
