| Biography: | Jeanne Tripplehorn is an American film actress.
She is primarily known for starring alongside Kevin Costner in Waterworld, which was, at the time, the most expensive film ever made. She is a stage-trained actress and was originally a local DJ and TV host. Her father was a guitarist for a famous sixties band.
For a while, Tripplehorn was engaged to actor Ben Stiller. She is married to actor Leland Orser; the couple have a son, August, born in 2002.
