| Biography: | Christina Maria Aguilera was born on December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York. Christina got into music at the early age of 6 performing in talent shows and at the age of 8, she appeared on Star Search, however, she did not win. She joined the New Mickey Mouse club in 1992, which included Britney Spears, and N* Sync members, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. In 1998, Aguilera recorded the song "Reflection" for Disney's Mulan. This performance gained her a contract with RCA. Her debut album was released in 1999 and included hit single ?Genie in a Bottle? which topped the charts for 5 weeks. The album went on to sell over 8 million copies in the U.S. alone.
