You have probably heard about Tony Parker’s alleged sexting scandal which prompted his wife Eva Longoria to file for divorce, but just earlier today Parker filed a divorce petition himself.
TMZ is reporting that a legal battle could be coming between Parker and Longoria, as the basketball star filed his petition in Bexar County, Texas. The issue being that Longoria filed in L.A., meaning there will be a little pushing and shoving before one of the courts can continue with the divorce.
The divorce petition that Parker filed states: “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
There’s also something about this case that’s either a giant coincidence or a little weird; Parker’s legal council is Richard Orsinger, the same lawyer who’s representing Brent Barry—the husband of the woman who was sending the naughty messages to Parker and started this whole thing.
Actor Jeff Goldblum sent his lawyer to court Friday to ask a judge for a restraining order against a woman who used to stalk him in advance of her release from a mental institution. Linda Ransom has been stalking Goldblum since 2001 and has been arrested five times in connection with similar activities.
Ransom has been booked for both trespassing and stalking before and, as TMZ reports, will soon be released from the institution that she has been at since she was declared incompetent in 2009.
However, the restraining order that Goldblum’s lawyer wanted was denied by the judge, who said that before an order can be given Ransom will have to pose a new, legitimate threat. Definitely bad news for the guy.
If and when the woman does go after the actor again, it’s likely that an order would be issued, but until then Goldblum will have to wait and hope for the best.
Wesley Snipes was found guilty in federal court on tax evasion charges in 2008 and has since been appealing the conviction. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison, but up until now he hasn’t served one day.
For over two years Snipes had been trying to stay out of the slammer, but the actor was taken into custody earlier today after a judge ordered Snipes to quit playing games and do his time.
TMZ confirmed the news with the Federal Bureau of Prisons and Snipes is said to be “in transit” to a federal prison—where he will start his 3 year sentence.
Oh yeah! Pauly D is making lots of money. Yeah! The Jersey Shore cast member recently upped his appearance price by ten grand—asking $40,000 for just showing up.
The well-known DJ has used his star power and the help of talent agency William Morris Endeavor to bring in huge dollars for making appearances at clubs. “He was making about $30,000 an appearance before but the new asking price has been raised to $40,000,” a source said, according to RadarOnline.
A recent event made it clear to the world—or at least teenagers who love MTV—that Pauly D is the kind of person people show up for. The reality star recently visited a dorm at the University of Rhode Island and once word broke out that he was there, he pretty much got trapped.
“People started knocking at the door of the dorm room he was visiting. He looked outside and saw thousands of people in the parking area surrounding his car and he realized he couldn’t get out,” a source said.
It took efforts by Pauly D’s bodyguard, campus security, and the local police to get the DJ out of the mob scene. “It was insane, the college kids were grabbing him,” said one of the reality star’s friends. “Like the Beatles all over again.”
Leonardo DiCaprio was slashed in the face a few years back, allegedly by Aretha Wilson and RadarOnline is reporting that the woman has formally pled no contest to the felony charge.
With the plea entered, Wilson now awaits sentencing at her hearing on November 22nd, where DiCaprio could see justice served. The felony charge carries a punishment of up to four years in a state prison—but with time already served in jail that could be reduced.
Wilson slashed DiCaprio’s face at a party held by Rick Salomon—the guy in the Paris Hilton porn video—in the Hollywood Hills back in 2005. The attack left Leo with a wound that required over 15 stitches to patch up.
Maybe DiCaprio should have gone into Wilson’s dreams and persuaded her to not do such a crazy thing. Either way, at least she’s taking some kind of ownership for her actions and will have to pay the price for her crime.
Remember Jon and Kate Gosselin? Neither do we, really. Anyway, the Gosselin family is back in the news, but not for some big divorce scandal or reality TV show flop—two of the children have been expelled from their private school.
6-year-olds Collin and Alexis Gosselin, two of the sextuplets, were kicked out of their school for reasons which are being kept private, reports PEOPLE.
A source says “The situation is being grossly overstated,” continuing, “The kids are going through a challenging time, but Kate doesn’t feel this is something that should be discussed publicly. It is a private matter.”
Although it’s no excuse for getting expelled, the kids have admittedly gone through a very rough time—essentially a very public destruction of their family.
Despite all of the dramatics, “They’re just amazing, resilient, loving kids,” Kate said recently.
Kanye West was scheduled to make an appearance on Today, but according to the rapper, that’s not going to happen. Kanye is upset about how the show portrayed him during an interview this past Wednesday and is officially backing out of the performance that was scheduled for later this month.
TMZ confirmed with a rep for Kanye that he won’t be appearing on their Black Friday show. Wednesday’s interview in question dealt with Kanye’s views of George W. Bush, an obvious sore spot for the rapper.
Like many other stars these days, Kanye took to Twitter to make his decision public.
“I’m not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I’m so happy the world got to see just a small piece of ‘the set up,’” Kanye tweeted.
Following that tweet, he went on one of his famous Twitter rants, which culminated with this gem, “All positive energy … all smiles. Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show. I accept ya’ll future apology in advance LOL!”

Lindsay Lohan is apparently taking her time in rehab very seriously and staying clean and sober. RadarOnline reports that even after a painful dental procedure, Lindsay has refused anything to ease the aches.
“Lindsay had tooth surgery this week,” said a source close to Lindsay, continuing, “She had teeth removed and won’t even take any painkillers for the pain.” Lindsay has been seen as a complainer in the past, so it’s surprising that after a dental surgery she’d be so willing to stick to her program.
She is currently at the Betty Ford Center in California receiving treatment for her substance abuse addiction—namely her cocaine and alcohol problems.
“She’s taking her time at Betty Ford very seriously,” the source said. Well, you know what they say; the 5th time’s the charm! Err… at least we hope so for Lindsay’s sake.
We reported earlier that Lil Wayne will be on probation for the next three years of his life and must comply with the terms or face punishment.
Well, the terms of the probation were finalized and came into effect today. Among them, written in documents obtained by TMZ, it is stated that Weezy “may not consume or drink any substance containing alcohol.”
It sucks for him, considering that he’s planned a huge party for this weekend to celebrate his release from prison—including at least 48 confirmed bottles of bubbly. I guess his friends will just have to drink twice as much for him!
…Although those friends can’t have a criminal record. Another one of the terms of Lil Wayne’s probation makes it clear that the rapper can’t associate with any person who has a criminal record.

If you’re a fan of Lil Wayne, you know that he’s been released from jail. Now that he’s out of the slammer, though, he must serve three years of probation.
TMZ reports that Weezy landed in Yuma, Arizona to meet with the local probation department and start the three year sentence.
The incident that landed the rapper in prison in the first place occurred in Yuma at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint, where officers found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun. The felony drug charge is what put Weezy behind bars, with the other charges being dropped.
Lil Wayne will serve three years of unsupervised probation and also must complete 360 hours of community service—which will be carried out where he lives in Miami.
Sources say that if Lil Wayne has good behaviour, he might be able to get the felony charge dropped to a misdemeanour, which would be a positive if the rapper feels the need to go on tour with a bus filled with firearms and drugs.
Demi Lovato has been in the news recently as reports of her emotional issues surfaced. The actress’ so called ‘emotional and physical issues,’ as RadarOnline reports, forced her to cancel a tour with the Jonas Brothers and check herself into rehab treatment.
Following the news, Demi’s father, Patrick Lovato, spoke out about how he thinks Demi ended up at this place in her life. He claims that the pressures of show business have been hard on her and denounced his dislike his daughter’s choice to sign with Disney.
“There are a lot of pressures,” said Patrick. “That is one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney. It’s just going to happen.”
Demi has been estranged from her father for quite some time and her fans have come to her defence, some in very extreme ways.
RadarOnline reports that Patrick Lovato has been receiving death threats in response to his comments, including a note which was nailed to a fence at his home which read, “You’re dead.”
“I don’t care, let them come at me,” explained Patrick, continuing, “I’m not responsible for where Demi is right now… I love my daughter.”
Although Disney’s lawyers and Demi’s mother have spoken out against Patrick’s allegations, there haven’t been any lawsuits slapped down yet.
Last week Charlie Sheen went nuts inside a restaurant bathroom and in a hotel, doing cocaine and trashing his room. Another stint in rehab maybe?
Sheen’s escort for that eventful night was porn star Capri Anderson, who was with him for the entire evening and is getting slapped with the blame for a big ticket item. Sheen is claiming that she stole his $150,000 Patek Philippe 5970 watch, but according to Anderson, he’s just crazy.
According to TMZ, Anderson says Sheen went after her Prada purse in the hotel room and “ripped it to shreds” while looking for his expensive time piece.
Sources close to Anderson say that the porn star had just recently purchased the bag, worth $1,600, and when she took it to a store for repairs she was told that it wouldn’t be an option—Sheen allegedly went super nuts on it and made it “beyond repair.”
Now, this could just be that Anderson is tired of the blame and wants to shift some over to Sheen, making up the whole story… or (and we hope it’s this) Sheen is just as nuts as everyone thinks he is and actually went crazy on her bag, because that’s more entertaining!
According to law enforcement, Anderson never alluded to the whole purse incident when questioned. Sheen’s manager also denounces the claims, joking, “Maybe she can get a Prada sponsorship out of this.”
Nick Lachey, of 98 Degrees fame, has put a ring on the finger of Vanessa Minnillo, reports RadarOnline. After splitting up last summer, the two are back together and apparently ready to take their relationship to the altar.
“We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,” said Lachey and Minnillo in a statement to UsMagazine.
The couple’s relationship took off in 2006 after Nick called his three year marriage with Jessica Simpson quits. With this news, it’s safe to assume that Nick is confident that this relationship will last.
Reality fans shouldn’t expect another TV show about Nick and Vanessa’s marriage though, as his lady has already shut that idea out.

Angelina Pivarnick, the Jersey Shore cast member who decided to leave the show’s second season before it ended, was attacked in a mall earlier today… or so she says, reports TMZ.
The reality star claims that she was at a Hot Topic at the Staten Island Mall Friday when she was struck in the back of the head. A source close to Angelina said that there was a “rowdy group” of people who approached Angelina and a friend.
As Angelina’s story goes, someone attacked her from behind, hitting her head and leaving a big welt.
In contrast to her strong allegations, mall security claims that a small group of people had been filming Angelina and her friend and someone ended up hitting her in the face by mistake.
Everything cooled down when security made the crowd disperse, but according to a source, Angelina is looking for help from the police to determine what to do next.

f Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva keep it up, their baby, Lucia, is going to have the worst childhood.
As the custody battle and various other court proceedings are still underway, when it comes to give and take, there’s not much give.
TMZ reports that Gibson won’t be seeing Lucia on her birthday on Saturday, as the court has agreed with Oksana’s camp.
Gibson has Lucia today and is required to deliver her back to Oksana tonight, however the Gibson’s nanny who usually does the driving back and forth is sick—which prompted Gibson to ask the judge for an overnight visit in order to avoid any trouble.
Problem for Gibson is, Oksana knows that he also has another nanny who is very capable of doing the job, so when she demanded that Lucia be brought back to her tonight, the court kept things to-the-book. As per their current custody agreement, the court decided that Gibson will have to bring the baby back later this evening.
I bet Lucia already can’t wait to be the age of majority.
Katy Perry is now a married woman, but according to the musician herself, it would seem that she’s still got a crazy sex drive, reports RadarOnline.
“Like Ludacris rapped, ‘I’m a lady in the street and a freak in the bed,” Perry told Now Magazine.
How good, you ask? “I can’t rate myself, but if you ask Russell I’m sure he’d give me a ten out of ten,” she said.
As you probably already know, Katy Perry married Russel Brand in India this past week. Despite Brand’s rocky relationship past, Perry is confident in their dedication to each other.
“He’s made no secret of what his life was like before me, but that’s then and this is the future,” said Perry.
“He’s cheated in the past but he knows how good he has it with me and I know he’d never do anything to jeopardize that. I trust him 100 percent.”
Earlier this week Charlie Sheen had a pretty crazy night out which ended with him under psychiatric evaluation in a New York hospital on Tuesday.
A source told RadarOnline that the struggling actor was found “wasted at the restaurant” before he went nuts at a hotel. The source continued, “He was snorting cocaine and drinking vodka. He was also drinking wine… and he was wasted.”
That’s only the beginning though!
The source said that Sheen was at the restaurant with Capri Anderson, a porn star acting as his escort for the night (for the price of $12,000).
“At one point he convinced Capri to go to the bathroom with him. When they got into the bathroom he started snorting cocaine and then took off his pants,” the source said.
“Charlie wanted to have sex with Capri and tried but she stopped him and demanded her $12,000. He didn’t have the money on him so she left him in the bathroom!”
Capri alerted Sheen’s assistant about the actor’s state of mind, so the assistant went to check on him. “When the assistant opened the door, there was Charlie standing there naked with cocaine all over his face! He was delusional and just completely lost. Totally out of it,” said the source.
After leaving the restaurant and making it back to the hotel, Sheen allegedly smoked cocaine and trashed the room, naked, which is when the cops showed up.

Danielle Staub, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is going to have to face off against her ex-boyfriend Steve Zalewski in court after getting a lawsuit slapped on her last night.
According to TMZ, Staub hit the red carpet at a Halloween party in Jersey, and just moments later was handed the legal documents. The process server said “Here, Danielle… you’ve been served.”
Staub simply passed off the papers to her publicist and kept on walking. We’ve got to say, we were expecting some kind of huge Real Housewives freak-out.
Sources say that Zalewski is suing Staub for defamation related to Staub’s sex tape; she claims that Zalewski was the guy who filmed it, but he strongly denies any involvement.
A judge’s decision Friday to send Lindsay Lohan back to rehab and let her stay away from jail for the time being apparently doesn’t sit well with the actress.
According to TMZ, who obtained documents pertaining to her probation, Lindsay claimed that rehab would be a financial hardship and damaging to her career. Uh… yes Lindsay, it’s the rehab that will keep your career in the gutter.
Considering the inpatient rehab program was the only other alternative to spending time behind bars, it’s a little crazy that Lindsay would be so against it.
The documents also states, “The defendant [Lohan] says her clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product.” Again… Lindsay, it’s probably not your clothing line that’ll save you either.
Despite also saying that she is scheduled to start filming a movie in November (likely Inferno), it looks like Lindsay will have to wait a little longer before she can get her career back on track, if that is even possible anymore.
More bad news for Oksana Grigorieva today as her big wig lawyer was refused the right to practice law in the state of California by a judge.
Martin Garbus, practices law in New York, and was denied the ability to represent his client in California. The famed lawyer has defended the likes of Robert Redford, Al Pacino, and Spike Lee.
“This is devastating for Oksana because here you have her lead counsel unable to work on the case and speak on her behalf in a court of law,” a source said, according to RadarOnline, continuing, “it is a major problem for her legal team because she needs a lead counsel that has family law experience.”
Unfortunately for her, Oksana will have to wait until November 10th to try and get Garbus back in the court room with her to fight Mel Gibson.
