The fashion season is in the air, and who better to start off the new year than Angelina Jolie? The actress-turned-director of In the Land of Blood and Honey looks as stunning as always on the January cover of Marie Claire.
She was quick to talk about growing family with Brad Pitt.
“[Brad] has expanded my life in ways I never imagined. We built a family. He is not just the love of my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear,” she said. “I suppose what I’ve learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and well-being comes before your own. I’m very, very grateful to have such a loving family, and I wouldn’t have that without him.”
Hearing this makes us so excited for they day Brangelina might finally announce that they’re getting married. Apparently, their kids are just as impatient about it as we are.
“They have mentioned it, yes,” Jolie answered when asked if the kids want them to get married. “If you take it in an emotional way, you think, Ohhh, the children! They don’t feel secure enough! But then you think, Now, wait a minute: They think a wedding is a party with a four-layer tiered cake!”
The family still seem happy as ever, as Brad, Angelina, and all six kids went on a family outing today to New York’s FAO Shwartz, Angelina flashing a giant grin as they walked into the toy store. Despite the current lack of a marriage proposal, it seems like the Jolie-Pitts as a family are here to stay!

TMZ has announced that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are officially divorced after three and a half years of marriage. According to the L.A. County Superior Court, their marriage was formally terminated on November 22.
No information has been released about the custody of their child, Bronx Mowgli, but it is rumoured that Simpson is requesting primary custody while Wentz is requesting joint. Wentz says that the split is a cause of the couple growing apart.
It seems that the Simpson sisters are not having much luck in the marriage department! Let’s just hope that Jessica’s soon-to-be marriage with NFL player Eric Johnson ends better than her marriage with singer Nick Lachey or Ashlee’s with Pete. I guess the third Simpson marriage is a charm?
Move aside presidents, becase vegetarians are taking over as the new face of American postage stamps.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have taken the faces of 20 of the most famous vegetarians in history and put them on a series of postage stamps, to be released tomorrow. The stamps are an example of PETA’s effort to put a stop to animal abuse.
“It’s just another way to be able to talk about what animals go through in slaughterhouses,” said Lisa Lange, vice president of PETA.
The stamps will be available on Peta’s website through December and possibly into January, just in time for us to send out those holiday cards.
The collection will include the faces of celebrities such as Russell Simmons, Woody Harrelson, Natalie Portman, Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett, Bryan Adams, Leona Lewis, Paul McCartney, Pamela Anderson, Bob Barker, Stevo-O, and Ellen DeGeneres.
The set of 20 will be completed with the famous faces of Morrissey, César Chávez, Leonardo da Vinci, Leo Tolstoy, Albert Schweitzer, Gandhi, Pythagoras and Johnny Appleseed.
“These are very influential people, and not everyone knows that these folks are vegetarian,” said Lange.
While it’s a little risky to put such a controversial organization in charge of a set of postage stamps that will be released to the public, I think it could actually be a good idea. It will definitely attract the attention of collectors, but it will also help PETA achieve its hopes it to in publicizing issues at hand regarding animal cruelty.

As the Justin Bieber baby daddy case progresses, Mariah Yeater’s ex-boyfriend, Robbie Powell, has come out of the shadows and is claiming he is certain that he is the father of Yeater’s baby, not Bieber.
According to TMZ, Powell chose now to break his silence because he is tired of Yeater using “their” baby in order to get her 15 minutes of fame, and believes that she started this madness because she needs money. Sounds like the most obvious solution, right? Hey kids, do you need some cash? Just say that Justin Bieber is your baby’s daddy! Sounds ompletely rational to me.
TMZ adds that media outlets have reached out to Powell to get his side of the story. We can’t wait to hear that interview!
This is an interesting turn of events, although I can’t say that we didn’t see it coming since texts of Yeaters were found, claiming Powell is the father.

It looks like Christian Bale is retiring his black cape for good.
“I wrapped a few days ago so that will be the last time I’m taking that cowl off,” Bale told the Phillipine Daily Inquirer. “I believe that the whole production wrapped yesterday, so it’s all done. Everything’s finished. It’s me and Chris – that will be the end of that Batman era.”

Out of all his coworkers, Bale admitted that he was most impressed with Anne Hathaway’s performance and work.
“I had plenty of scenes with Anne,” Bale said. “And I was there when we did the screen test for her. The thing that I said to Chris [Nolan] that day was that there were many very accomplished actresses who had read for the role. I’m terrible at auditions, so I’m very impressed when somebody really seems to acquire an ownership of a character without having worked on it or prepared for some amount of time.”
“When Chris watched the screen test, he agreed that Anne did a wonderful job. In many ways, she has the hardest job. There are a number of people who feel that the Catwoman role has been defined previously. So, I always saw Anne’s role as being the toughest job of any of us. In my case, I’ve stopped referencing outside sources. I now reference Chris’ own world of Batman as a guide to what I will continue doing.”

If you’re a country fan, you may have heard when a stage collapsed shortly before country-duo Sugarland were supposed to perform at the Indiana State Fair back in August. The incident killed seven people and injured dozens more.
Now, TMZ reports more than 40 people are suing Sugarland, as well as Live Nation, ESG Security, and the stagehands’ union, for their injuries. The people claim the band could have cancelled the show when they were informed of the bad weather reports.
“Unfortunately, this tragedy could have been prevented if the responsible parties had been concerned about the concertgoers that night,” one of the plaintiff’s attorney, Mario Massillamany, said.
“The injuries I sustained have left me unable to provide for my family,” Lisa Hite, one of the people injured in the collapse, stated. “The financial and emotional strain this has caused has left a lasting impact on my family.”
It will be interesting to see where this story goes once Sugarland’s reps release their retorts in a statement. Needless to say, the story blew my mind when it broke, but to completely blame the country-duo for the disaster is a bit extreme; however, I do see where both sides are coming from.

Everyone can admit that Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is pretty nice to look at. There can’t be a guy who doesn’t envy his muscular physique. So, how does the star stay in such good shape? With yoga, of course!
In the December 2011 issue of Details, Levine says fans will never go backstage at a Maroon 5 concert and not see a room marked ‘Yoga’.
“Yoga takes what you have and molds and sculpts it, which is a much more natural way to look and feel,” he says. Talk about dedicated! But hey, if that’s what he has to do to look like that, who are we to stop him!
“I don’t like how people bullshit about how yoga is not about vanity,” Levine tells the magazine. “Playing a show before thousands of people is a highly unnatural state, and when I get on the mat to do an hour of yoga before the show, I come out physically relaxed.”

After the immense success Nicki Minaj’s album, Pink Friday has seen since its release in November 2010, Billboard has decided to honor the “Super Bass” rapper with the title of “Rising Star of the Year” at ther Women in Music event on December 2. Last year the award was received by Jazmine Sullivan, proceeding Lady Gaga in 2009 and Colbie Caillat in 2008.

Fans waited in line for days through the cold and rain in the Rockefeller Plaza in anticipation of the big surprise Justin Bieber promised via Twitter for his performance on the Today Show on Wednesday.
“Im bringing a BIG SURPRISE with me to the @todayhow performance this morning. I want to make this great for the fans. they deserve it,” Bieber tweeted earlier today. Boy, did he ever deliver with an outstanding performance of his song “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire),” with none other than his friend and mentor Usher.
“so blessed! thank you to all the fans who camped out for days for the @todayshow this morning!! Had to bring out big bro @UsherRaymondIV!!” Bieber tweeted moments after getting off stage, adding ”Im not done with my SPECIAL GUESTS!! Watch @theviewtv today because Im bringing out another major surprise! #Mistletoe!
So who did Bieber surprise the View audience with? Mary J. Blige! Bet you didn’t see that one coming! Blige came out during Bieber’s performance of his single, “Mistletoe,” to loud screams of excitement. Check out the video below.

First Justin Timberlake accompanied Corporal Kelsey de Santis to the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, Virginia. Now, his Friends with Benefits co-star Mila Kunis has followed in his footsteps.
After asking her via YouTube as a dare from his fellow marines, Sgt. Scott Moore was lucky enough to be joined by actress Mila Kunis as he attended the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina, on Friday. Kunis had agreed to the date back in July during an interview with Fox11, after some coaxing from Timberlake.
“Hey Mila, Sgt. Moore, but you can call me Scotty,” Moore said in his YouTube invite to Kunis. “I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball with yours truly. So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”
The sergeant made the YouTube account specifically for this occasion, titling it “GoWithMeMila“. Now that’s dedication!
“It was a blast, it was a great time,” Moore told Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts. “It exceeded my expectations.”
The sergeant added that he was surprised how down-to-earth Kunis was, and that she was very interested to learn about the Marines’ history. He also revealed that the two took to the dance floor during the gala, and when the night came to an end, Kunis promised to keep in touch.

After four weeks on the charts, Michael Buble’s newly released holiday album, Christmas, has finally made it to No. 1 with a running total of just under 237,000 sales. His chart-topping Christmas album marks his second No. 1 album on the UK charts. Congrats, Michael!

While pretty much everyone else in Hollywood was at the 2011 American Music Awards, rockin’ out to Katy Perry and LMFAO in L.A., Beyonce was in New York City at the premiere for her DVD, Live At Roseland.
The singer showed off her growing baby bump on the premier’s black carpet, in a stunning tight-fitted black Robert Cavalli gown with gold detailing on the back. She did not look sad at all for missing out on the AMA festivities.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazzar in October, Beyonce explained that her pregnancy has not stopped her from expressing her impeccable fashion sense.
“I’ve had so much fun with fashion over the months,” she said. “I have been pregnant through every event I’ve done, from the Billboard Awards to Glastonbury.”
Beyonce revealed her baby news back in August, with an inconspicuous belly rub while walking on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The 2011 American Music Awards was one big party last night, from Kelly Clarkson’s big-band performance of “Mr. Know It All” to Taylor Swift’s frazzled acceptance speech when she was awarded Artist of the Year. I was most excited to see the one and only Justin Bieber!
Although he didn’t win any awards – he was beat out by Bruno Mars for Favourite Pop/Rock Male Artist (expect a Hooligans vs. Beliebers war to come soon). Justin Bieber congratulated the “It Will Rain” singer, as well some of the night’s other winners.
“With my fans Im a winner everyday. #ILOVEMYFANS. We are a #FAMILY. and…,” tweeted Bieber, “I’M SEXY AND I KNOW IT”

3. The cameras caught Justin Bieber and buddy Jaden Smith doing the Dougie in the audience during Pitbull and Marc Anthony’s performance of “Rain Over Me.”
2. Justin lit up the stage while he sang his new Christmas single, “Mistletoe,” off his album, “Under the Mistletoe.”
1. My personal favourite Justin moment of the night was during LMFAO’s performance of “Party Rock Anthem”. Towards the end of the song, Justin came out on stage and shuffled with Redfoo and Sky Blu. Although it wasn’t his best dancing to date, it was still extremely amusing to watch! Fast forward to 2:43 to see Justin’s dance.
She’s back! Well, she’s not singing again exactly, but it’s great to hear Adele is getting better.
The chart-topping singer has returned to her blog on Monday to announce to her fans that she is on a road to recovery. The singer wrote:
“Sorry I haven’t written for a while. Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors. Thank you to everyone who voted for the awards I’ve won recently as well. Hugely appreciated. Adele underwent surgery back in the beginning of November on a polyp in her throat.
This is the 23-year-old’s first blog post since October 4, when she apologized profusely to her fans, explaining how her problems with her voice began last year. “I will be back and I’m gonna smash the ball out the park once I’m touring again. I apologise from the bottom of my heart, sincerely I do,” she wrote.

After seven months of filming, the Dark Knight Rises has come to an end. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays police officer John Blake, has told E! Online that filming on director Christopher Nolan’s final Batman flick ended on Monday. That means we’re one step closer to seeing it on the big screen!
While JGL gushed about how he loved filming in New York City with his coworkers, E! says further details about the Dark Knight Rises are being kept in the dark. Nevertheless, we can’t wait to hear more and see the first trailer when it’s released. It’s guaranteed to be one of the most legendary Batman films yet. Let the countdown begin!

Hours after being dropped by her lawyers and announcing her dismissal of the lawsuit against Justin Bieber, Mariah Yeater’s new representative, Jeffrey Leving, is assuring the public that the case is still on.
Her rep also says Mariah and Justin have decided to take matters out of the court due to the number of death threats she has has been receiving. No kidding, Mariah. Welcome to the life of Selena Gomez!
“I did not step down and there is a legal team,” Leving told a Chicago news station. “It’s a new legal team….She believes Justin Bieber is the father. Right now there’s no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I’m not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s council and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test.”
Leving goes on to say his goal once the DNA test is completed is to keep things confidential. We highly doubt the results of the paternity test will remain a secret. You are talking about the biggest pop star on the planet!
Does he really think they’re all just going to disappear and slip away into the dark, never having to answer about it again? After following this story as it unfolds, we’re just dying to know what the outcome will be. So for their sake, as well as ours, we hope this all gets settled very soon.

Just months after having been arrested at the 2011 Juno Awards held in Toronto, Giovanni Palumbo, the lonely stalker who sent Shania Twain love letters and flowers, has been released from prison.
Palumbo was released on Tuesday and given three years of probation. According to the Toronto Star, during the testimony Polumbo looked “ pale, gaunt, disheveled and was unshaven.”
“He hung his head and even took to lying on the bench in the prisoner’s box, curling up in a fetal position,” described journalist Curtis Rush. “Even when freed at the end of the day, there was no joy on his face.”
Since the beginning of this debacle a few years ago, Polumbo has been ordered to not come within half a kilometer of the country singer, and had his license to practice medicine revoked. He also lost contact with his family over the years.
It’s a wonder what will happen to Polumbo next. Whatever it is, we definitely hope it’s away from Shania. Who knows what compelled him to do all of this. We know Shania is very talented, but his creepy actions might have pushed it just a bit too far. We wish the best for both of them.
Vampires and werewolves unite! The cast of twilight were joined by a number of celebrity friends as they took to the black carpet at Monday’s premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
Fans queued for days by the theatre to score autographs and pictures from their favourite Twilight actors such as Kirsten Stewart, and heartthrobs Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Also in attendance were Twilight author Stephanie Meyer, singer Cody Simpson, 90210’s Matt Lanter and Bruno Mars, who’s song “It Will Rain” is featured on the soundtrack.
One thing is for sure – the cast dressed to impress! Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, was all smiles as she stunned the crowd with her J Mendel purple sequined dress with a thigh high slit revealing her never-ending legs.
Robert Pattinson took away the breath of every girl in the audience, no doubt, looking as dashing as ever in a crisp
Taylor Lautner was dressed to perfection in his grey suit and purple tie. Is that a Movember moustache we see him sporting? We like!
The Cullen boys took to the red carpet in individual styles. Kellan Lutz blending in to the carpet with his all-black ensemble, making his blue eyes stand out quite nicely. Peter Facinelli wore a blue suit and scarf, overtop a white button down shirt. Jackson Rathbone proved his individuality by sporting a red velvet suit – wow!
The women of the Cullen clan looked ravishing. Ashely Greene was seen in a sultry red Donna Karan strapless tulle dress. Elizabeth Reaser wore a vintage beaded dress that lit up the carpet, and Nikki Reed put on asimple yet stunning green, over-the-shoulder chiffon dress.
Stephenie Meyer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Bruno Mars, Danica Patrick, Liam Hemsworth, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner all graced the carpet with their presence.
