Stars from your most loved – or hated – reality shows are teaming up to create a new reality show for your viewing pleasure. Jersey Shore’s Snooki broke up with Emilio Masella via voicemail and he is now in search of love. So, why not turn to the crowd pleaser, Spencer Pratt, for help.
People.com reports that Masella is teaming with Pratt’s production company called (no surprise) Pratt Productions to create the show. Masella, A Gold’s Gym trainer is starring in the show, which is called Fist Pumping for Love, and he will travel the country “in search of love.”
Sounds like a match made in heaven, and The Hill’s star believes so as well.
“It is the perfect partnership for me as a growing player in reality television,” Pratt said in a statement released Thursday.
He then added that if you don’t know Emilio Masella, 21, “You haven’t seen nothing yet.”
After getting dumped, Masella is ready to move on – but away from girls like Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi.
“I am tired of these fake Italian girls,” says Masella, who dated the Jersey Shore star for four months. “I want a real guid-ette who can speak Italian, so we are prepared to take my search from Hollywood, Calif., to the streets of Howard Beach in Queens, N.Y.”
Filming for the show begins Wednesday night in the best place to pick up a new girl – a local bar and will continue this weekend in the Long Island club Glow.
Pratt wasn’t going to keep this good thing to himself – he is sharing it with his wife, as Heidi Montag is listed as an executive producer for the new show.
We wait for it all year, and no it’s not Christmas time. But it is Time’s 100 World’s Most Influential People, and this year some of our favorites made the cut.
Hollywood stars Lady Gaga, Conan O’Brien and Kathryn Bigelow were the top three in the artist section and others like Taylor Swift, Ashton Kutcher and Robert Pattinson closely followed behind. Sandra Bullock, Lea Michele and Marc Jacobs were also on the list.
There were some obvious ones like Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Bill Clinton. Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva topped the leaders list.
Ben Stiller was near the top of the heroes list for his charity StillerStrong.org, to help build schools in Haiti.
So is it fair to put Lady Gaga in a list with Barack Obama? Her fashion sense was only a small part of why the magazine put her on the list. “Lady Gaga’s art captures the period we’re in right now,” they say.
A young 20-year-old Taylor Swift made the list and Stevie Nicks reminded us why. “Taylor is writing for the universal woman and for the man who wants to know her…It’s women like her who are going to save the music business.”
It’s also a time when other celebrities actually have nice things to say about one another. Here are a few other stars weighing in on the list, according to E! Online.
Olivia Newton-John credits Michele with “inspiring young people to get involved in musical programs in schools and encouraging communities to fund them.”
New Moon director Chris Weitz raved about Pattinson, describing him as seeming “to answer Freud’s rhetorical question, ‘What do women want?’ “
Sean “Diddy” Combs was gracious about his friend Kutcher. “Most people use it to promote themselves, but [Ashton] uses Twitter to connect, to strike up conversations, to send positive messages to the millions of people who read his words. This guy will show us the future. And it’s gonna be a blast.”

Sitcom television isn’t having much luck – and it looks like Steve Carell is following in the footsteps of Charlie Sheen. Yes, it’s true – there may be no Michael Scott in the popular sitcom The Office after next season.
During an interview with BBC, Carell dropped the horrible bomb that he may not be re-signing his contract next year.
When the interviewer asked, “How long will you stay with The Office for? How many more [seasons]? How long does your contract run?” Carell responded, “Contract through next season.”
When he was asked “And will you stay after that?” the 47-year-old actor responded, “I don’t think so. I think that will probably be my last year.”
Well, at least he said, “think,” so there may still be hope. Perhaps it was part of a negotiation tactic, and Michael Scott will alive and well in the Scranton branch. NBC has yet to comment on the interview.
It is almost impossible to imagine The Office without the immature, inappropriate and absolutely hilarious Michael Scott.
Joni Mitchell emerged out of nowhere to hate on some of her counterparts, according to PerezHilton.
The 66-year-old legendary folk queen, who has been keeping to herself lately, had some not very nice things to say about Bob Dylan Madonna and others. What could someone have to say about those two? Well, Ms. Mitchell did, and here’s what she said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times:
“Bob is not authentic at all. He’s a plagiarist, and his name and voice are fake. Everything about Bob is a deception. We are like night and day, he and I.”
She may have been referring to the controversy in 2006 over Dylan’s album Modern Times. Critics believed his lyrics borrowed too much from poet Henry Timrod, and Dylan made no acknowledgement in his album’s sleeve notes.
Mitchell also criticized Madonna’s cultural influence.
“Americans have decided to be stupid and shallow since 1980. Madonna is like Nero; she marks the turning point,” she said.
She didn’t stop there – in her interview she also attacked Grace Slick and Janis Joplin, saying they were “[sleeping with] their whole bands and falling down drunk.”
She could however manage to say one nice thing, she called Jimi Hendrix “the sweetest guy.”
How sweet, Joni.
What started as a headache for rocker Bret Michaels turned into something much more serious, PEOPLE reports.
Michaels was experiencing an excruciating headache Thursday night before he was rushed to an undisclosed hospital. According to a source close to the situation, it was there that doctors discovered he suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage – bleeding at the base of his brain stem.
The 47-year-old singer is currently in critical condition.
“After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation,” the source says.
His reps confirm that the information is accurate and said, “We will have no additional information until further testing is done.”
Earlier this month Michaels was rushed into a San Antonio, Texas hospital for an emergency appendectomy. There is no word whether this hospital visit is related to his recent appendectomy or his diabetes.
After his appendectomy, the Poison front man remained in the hospital under his doctors’ care, before being transferred to a rehab facility specializing in diabetic patients.
He remained in good spirits while he was recovering and updated fans on his progress. He was also still in the running to win this season of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.
The Pennsylvania native wrote a note to his fans about the pain he experienced.
“They told me that if I had gone on stage like I wanted to, [my appendix] likely would have ruptured and I could have died. There is just no way around the fact that getting your appendix out HURTS. I have a pretty good threshold for pain, but this one hurts.”
It took long enough but it finally happened – Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller have split, according to E! Online.
After domestic assaults, rehab, legal issues and negative headlines, the two have decided to call it quits.
“Charlie has returned to old habits,” a source close to the Mueller family said, “Brooke has moved out of their family home. Brooke and Charlie still talk, but they don’t see each other.”
There have been reports that the 44-year-old ex-Two and a Half Men star moved back into his house with an escort, which made actress and real estate agent, Mueller obviously leave, is “totally false,” says the insider.
“Charlie is still in rehab,” the source explains. “He isn’t living at home right now.”
There was no comment from Mueller’s attorney on the split, however, Stan Rosenfield, Sheen’s publicist had another story. He was tight-lipped but admitted that the information was “not true” but did not elaborate.
So with that unclear, so is the fate of the hit show Two and a Half Men, since Sheen announced he was leaving the show in February.
Motherhood has been only good to Christina Aguilera – she says it has made her “better than ever,” reports PEOPLE.
With the release of Bionic, her fourth studio album in June, the songstress is ready to show the world the new Christina.
“I’m more confident and comfortable in my own skin,” she said Tuesday in an interview with Q100’s Bert Show in Atlanta.
Not only is she comfortable and happy as a mother, it has made her even more sexual than she already is.
“I think [I’m] even a more sexual Christina … it’s just something that’s happening inside of me at this point in my life.”
Naomi Campbell still has, and will not, learn her lesson when it comes to public outbursts. ABC News reports that the supermodel got physical with one of their cameramen. A reporter merely asked her about allegations that former Liberian President Taylor gave her a blood diamond in 1997, and she lashed out.
She managed to stay poised in front of the camera – she initially seems very calm in the video; telling the reporter, “ I didn’t receive a diamond and I’m not going to speak about that.”
Then things got nasty. The reporter continued to ask the 39-year-old British supermodel about her refusal to cooperate with Taylor’s international trial for crimes against humanity. Campbell then walked out of the interview, smashed the camera to the ground and allegedly threw a punch at the cameraman.
Campbell’s involvement with Taylor was first pointed out by actress Mia Farrow, who was present in 1997 when Taylor gave Campbell a gift; the huge, uncut diamond ring.
If your luck with men isn’t that great, why not try your luck with perfume? The lovely and talented Jennifer Aniston is.
E! Online reports that the former Friends star collaborated with Falic Fashion Group to create a new fragrance. It’s called “Lolavie”, and launches in June, but only in the U.K. Sometime after that, expect to get your own first whiff.
The 41-year-old actress promises that it’s not too heavy as she told Women’s Wear Daily:
“I am not a big perfume-y fragrance fan,” describing the scent as “sexy and clean” and “floral, but not too flowery.” “I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all, I wanted it to smell natural.”
Aniston confessed she “felt like a little chemist” while concocting the scent and dished about the inspiration – but didn’t give away too much. She said that the bottle was inspired for her love of waves and modern architecture, but kept tight-lipped about the name of the scent.
“It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell,” she says. “But it has special significance.” Aka: Screw you John Mayer and Angelina Jolie.
She isn’t stopping there either, the star talked about expanding the line include other scents, cosmetics or skin-care products. .
“Anything’s possible,” she says.
If you’ve been keeping up with your reality TV stars, and we all know you have, then you are well aware of The Hills’s Heidi Montag’s new, well, everything. But this time, her implants are in discussion. Perezhilton.com reports that her new surgery is so out of whack that it could be seriously damaging to her health.
Dr. Lyle M. Back says:
“The excessive weight of the implants in these extreme augmentations almost always leads to chronic lower back pain and significant drooping of the breasts. Often, the entire balance of the spine can be thrown off, resulting in chronic neck strain, painful shoulders and even a stooping posture.”
And if that isn’t enough, the 23-year-old star is being warned about having children – something her and psycho husband Spencer Pratt have discussed in previous episodes.
Another expert, Dr. Joel Beck adds:
Lisa Love usually gets what she wants – but this time that may not be the case. With The Hills’s sixth and last season premiering on April 27, people are buzzing if LC will ever appear on the screen again, even just for the season finale. E! Online reports that Lisa Love believes she should.
“The show gave her a great run,” the Teen Vogue editor told E last night at Diego Della Valle’s MOCA fundraiser at Tod’s in Bevery Hills. “She should definitely come back for the finale.”
The show’s creator, Adam DiVello, told EW.com that his dream was to have LC walk down the aisle for the last episode. Love, however, has other ideas.
“It’d be fun if Lauren and I caught up in Paris,” Love suggested. “I think they could find a way to make it work with her coming back.”
Although Love is hoping for Conrad’s comeback, she has not been following the reality TV show since Conrad left.
“It was over many years ago for me, and I haven’t watched it since,” Love said. “I never watched it even when I was on. You don’t want to watch yourself on TV. I only follow what’s going on with the cast when I’m at the airport.”
The 24-year-old clothing designer has been focusing on just that – her clothing line, The Lauren Conrad Collection, as well as writing New York Times Best Seller LA Candy and Sweet Little Lies: An L.A. Candy Novel. All of which leaves her choice, but to leave her reality TV days behind her.
Remember Natalie Mejia? Nope, neither do we, but apparently she got busted for cocaine, and pleaded not guilty. E! Online reports that the Girlicious singer pleaded guilty Thursday to felony possession of cocaine with the intent to sell in connection with her arrest on March 9. Police allegedly found a dozen baggies of cocaine when they went through her Gucci purse during a routine traffic stop.
Mejia’s claim to fame was her role on the CW show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, where her pop trio emerged. The 21-year-old singer was a passenger in the car – Peter Ascensio, who was also arrested, was the driver. As always, Mejia says that she does not know how the drugs got into her bag.
April 26 is the court date that will determine whether there’s enough evidence against Mejia to be taken to trial.
Mejia, whose pop trio took shape on the CW show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, was a passenger in the car—the driver, Peter Ascensio, was also arrested—and maintains that she does not know how the drugs got in her bag.
She might be safe however, because police said that last month Ascencio made “some statement” indicating that the drugs were his, but it was up to the district attorney to press charges.
So, another one bites the dust. It turns out that Paris Hilton can’t keep it together as her and now ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, 24, broke up, according to People.com.
There have numerous conflicting reports about the couple’s status, but now the 29-year-old heiress’s rep confirmed they broke up “weeks ago.”
The two managed to stay together for the past 14 months but this wasn’t the first time the couple has had problems – they broke up last June, but later reconciled.
Reinhardt is known for his appearance on MTV’s The Hills, as well as for playing in the minor leagues for baseball.
And in true Hollywood fashion, Hilton has already tweeted about rumors that she was not getting cozy next to Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, NFL star, Reggie Bush. Hilton tweeted:
“Aside from being @ the same club, Reggie and I didn’t even say hi to each other. I was there with my sister and friends. “
After months of downing excessive amounts of alcohol and chomping on fried food, Gwyneth Paltrow is getting herself back together, says People.com.
Don’t be too alarmed, she wasn’t on a downward spiral like most celebs these days – it was for a movie role, but the lifestyle had real-life repercussions on her body.
“I was so bad with the food and alcohol in Nashville,” the 37-year-old actress tells Harper’s Bazaar in its May issue about her role as an alcoholic country singer in the new film, Love Don’t Let Me Down.
“If you saw me naked [now] compared to what I looked like when I did Iron Man 2, when I was exercising every day – I’ll get it back together, but I’ve never eaten so much fried food and white flour in my life, ever,” said the mother-of-two.
We all know M.I.A. is talented, unique and intellectual with her lyrics, but we didn’t know she was such a hater. Dose.ca reports that she had a few words of her own on what everyone raves about today: Lady Gaga and Twilight – in her NME cover interview. And, she is also expected to drop a new album in the next few months, but that wasn’t a hot topic in comparison to her running her mouth about Gaga.
The outspoken MC brings up Lady Gaga three times in her Q&A, and not because it was a Q, or to give the fellow singer props.
Instead, the 34-year-old outlandish MC said exactly what she thought of the equally out-there Gaga.
We’ve all had our share of disloyal friends, but none tops grieving country-music star Shania Twain’s longtime friend and assistant. She says doing a reality show on Oprah Winfrey’s new cable network is another step toward her recovery after heartache, reports People.com.
“I feel like in a way I’m starting over, with everything,” Twain, 44, told Winfrey in an interview at an event in New York on Thursday. “This is a very personal experience that I think is important to share. This is an experience of recovery. I was in a very deep, dark slump, and I needed to find a way to get myself out of it. I had to force myself back out into life, back out into experiencing things.”
It’s not like it was a big secret, but it’s always good to hear it first-hand. Eonline.com reports that Rihanna has finally come clean about her relationship with L.A. Dodger’s outfielder, Matt Kemp, 25.
The pair was first spotted lip-locked in Mexico this January, but the couple were adamant on keeping it under wraps, as his agent denied it a few days later. They decided to be a bit more open around the time of the singer’s birthday in mid-February and when the 25-year-old baseball star introduced her to his parents last month.
Now, the 22-year-old singing sensation is making it official.
If you’re into shows like Survivor and Pimp My Ride, then you’ll be upset to hear that the producer for such shows is detained in Mexico after the search for his missing wife reached a gruesome conclusion.
Eonline.com reports that the three-time Emmy nominated TV producer, Bruce Beresford-Redman was taken into police custody this morning after the body of his wife, Monica, whom he reported missing on Tuesday, was found in a sewer near the couple’s resort in Cancun.
A regional police spokesman confirmed the detainment of Beresford-Redman, but did not give information on Monica’s cause of death. However, media reports from Mexico have cited strangulation.
Here’s the story so far, according to Eonline.com:
Singer, Erykah Badu, should keep her clothes on during music videos if she doesn’t want to be charged.
E! online reports that the 39-year-old singer is has been charged with a disorderly conduct citation for being naked in the legendary Dealey Plaza, the site of John F. Kennedy’s assassination, the Dallas Police Department announced. She will have to pay a $500 fine.“Window Seat,” shows her slowly walk down the street, stripping individual layers of clothing until she is nude. She says it was inspired by an indie pop duo Matt and Kim’s video for their track “Lessons Learned,” where they do the same thing, but in Times Square before being caught by police officers.
“The statements from the witness would rise to the level of disorderly conduct,” Deputy Chief Mike Genovesi said. “The issuance of a citation is pretty routine for that charge.”
According to reports, a woman had a problem with the video and filed an indecency complaint after she and her two young children witnessed Badu stripping for her scene in the video.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t the public nudity at a renowned historical site, that got Badu busted.
“To shoot that video, they would have had to get a special-events permit from the events office, and it would have had to specify what type of filming they were doing, what subjects they would use and any traffic control they would need,” Dallas Police Department Senior Corporal Janice Crowther told MTV news this week.
Superstar producer, Just Blaze, has been busy with DJing and producing, but the project he seems most excited about is producing Eminem’s new album, MTV News reports.
Blaze has been working with Jay Electronica and Eminem as well as DJing at the hottest parties like the Winter Music Conference and at club Grand Central during the Fool’s Gold party in Miami, where he spun a two-hour set.
“I’m working on Eminem’s album still, so I’ve gotta hurry up and get back to Detroit,” Just said. He was fresh off the turntables at club Grand Central during the Fool’s Gold party in Miami, where he spun a two-hour house set. “I’ve been back and forth — Detroit, New York, Detroit, New York, Miami, back to Detroit — for like the past two and a half weeks. [The album], it’s getting there, but we still got a lot of work. So I wish I could stay [in Miami] longer,” he said.
