(andPOP) - Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia, stars of the NBC smash hit
Heroes, have been denying for weeks that they are romantically involved.
But a
video of them cuddling and dirty dancing at an Emmy after party has just surfaced on YouTube.
It's convenient timing for the show, which premieres in its second season on Monday.
While early plotlines hinted at a possible romance between the couple's characters, they were later revealed to be related.
The couple is controversial because Ventimiglia is 30 years old, while Panettiere turned 18 just one month ago.
In December, when
USA Today asked Ventimiglia what he found attractive about Panettiere, he responded, "Ask me Aug. 21 (her birthday), and I'll tell you a zillion things."
The dance floor wasn't the only place Panettiere was getting into trouble at the Emmy's.
TV Guide has reported that she threatened to "kill" an
US Weekly reporter on the red carpet. The reporter had recently written a story about Panettiere's break up with MTV personality Stephen Coletti.
Ventimiglia has previously dated his
Gilmore Girls co-star Alexis Bledel.
