(andPOP) - Newfoundland's Tara Oram appeared to be walking on sunshine when she performed her Pop Rock song selection for Canadian Idol audiences on Monday. Despite her lively performance, the 23-year-old competitor from Hare Bay received the fewest of the 3.1 million votes cast, making her the next competitor eliminated from the Top 10 this season. Following the announcement of the results in tonight's show, just one female was left standing with the remaining four male competitors as Oram charmed fans once more with her rendition of Katrina & The Waves' "Walking On Sunshine."

After receiving advice from this week's guests Maroon 5, the Top 6 each performed their Pop Rock selections during Monday night's episode, drawing the biggest performance show audience of the season with over 1.6 million total viewers. In tonight's show, the Idols kicked things off with a group performance of the Bryan Adams/Rod Stewart/Sting hit "All For Love". Then guest performers Maroon 5 took the stage to play their No. 1 hit "Makes Me Wonder" and "Wake Up Call", both off their latest release It Won't Be Soon Before Long.
Before host Ben Mulroney announced the results of last night's voting, Oram was joined on stage by the two other members of the bottom three, West Pubnico, NS's Dwight d'Eon and Mission, B.C.'s Carly Rae Jepsen. d'Eon and Jepsen will return next week to work with guest mentor Kelly Clarkson and perform their selections for "My Own Idol" week.
The remaining finalists moving on to the Top 5 are:
· Jaydee Bixby, 17, Drumheller, AB, Student
· Dwight d'Eon, 28, West Pubnico, NS, Lobster Fisherman
· Carly Rae Jepsen, 21, Mission, BC, Student/Waitress
· Brian Melo, 24, Hamilton, ON, Construction Worker
Matt Rapley, 18, Regina, SK, Student
