(andPOP) - Rockers THE CULT have settled on a new line-up featuring former WHITE ZOMBIE drummer JOHN TEMPESTA.

The Love Removal Machine hitmakers, Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, whose ranks have included former Guns N' Roses star Matt Sorum and ex-Big Country drummer Mark Brzezicki, are currently touring Europe with bassist Chris Wyse, Tempesta and guitarist Mike Dimkich.

The three newcomers also appear on the group's new album, Born Into This, which will be released in October.

The Cult have an awkward history - since the band's inception in early 1983, no line-up has lasted more than two years.
