The set was named after the movement to free group member City Spud, who is Nelly's younger brother and incarcerated. City Spud is featured on Nelly's latest hit "Ride Wit Me," which is presently No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The other members of the St. Lunatics are Ali, Kyjuan, Murphy Lee and Slo Down. The group's debut single, "Midwest Swing," is gaining momentum at radio. Jason Epperson and his crew, the Basement Beats, produced "Free City." The set features R&B singer Brian McKnight, Penelope and rapper Cardan.
