SingStar Pop for PS2, newest edition to SingStar Franchise

(SCEA) announced today the release of SingStar™Pop, the latest installment in the SingStarTM franchise, available exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s London Studio, SingStar Pop is the follow-up to SingStar™ Rocks! and PlayStation 2’s newest interactive singing experience that puts you center stage singing original recordings from popular artists.

Players of all ages can see if they have what it takes to become the next big singing sensation, selecting from 30 hit songs to sing along to while watching the actual music video on screen. Available both as a standalone disc and packaged with two, USB microphones, SingStar Pop features more of PlayStation fans favorite songs from today’s hit makers and pop legends including Destiny’s Child, A-Ha, U2, James Blunt, Franz Ferdinand, Whitney Houston and more. As an added feature for SingStar fans, if players own both games, they can easily access the song list from SingStar Rocks! while playing SingStar Pop, and vice versa, to expand their song library.
