Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Rapper SNOOP DOGG was granted a short-term travel visa to film an appearance for MTV in Australia, despite outstanding charges against him in California.
The rapper, real name CALVIN BROADUS, flew into Melbourne on a private jet for the Good Vibrations concert on Saturday, later flying to Brisbane for the festival's Sunday show.
Snoop Dogg arrived in Sydney on Monday to film a secret project originally slated for a December shoot, but was postponed after the star was arrested in November for possessing drugs and a firearm.
The star spent four hours filming at Ruby Rabbit nightclub, along with Australian actress and pop star SOPHIE MONK, who is engaged to GOOD CHARLOTTE rocker BENJI MADDEN.
Last month, his lawyers denied the rapper had a weapon when he was stopped by airport officials in Orange County, California, who allegedly found a collapsible baton in his luggage.
