Dixie Chicks Dominate at Grammys

(andPOP) - Shunned by the country music community after bashing George Bush, the Dixie Chicks were recognized for their post-controversy work by the larger music community last night at the Grammy Awards.

The Dixie Chicks were the big winners, taking home the trophies for album, record, song, country album and country performance by a group of the year.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers won four and Mary J. Blige won three.

Carrie Underwood beat out Corinne Bailey Rae for Best New Artist.
