Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - I'm really thinking I will be within 20% this week. I am due for a good week, though I think I will be totally off on Norbit. If I predict a high number, it will be low. Low, high. Let's get right to my predictions for how much the new releases will earn.
Norbit – Come on. Just read andPOP's review and refrain. Refrain! I know you're going to see it though which is why I'm saying this will earn $28 million and this is actually based on something. Big Mamma's House 2 earned that much in its opening weekend almost exactly one year ago. I figure if you rushed to see that, you'll rush to see this. And I will refrain from further making fun of you, the general public. Biting my tongue.
Hannibal Rising – No Stars, few ads. This one is tough. I looked up Hannibal from 2001, and it earned $58 million in its opening weekend. So since that had major stars and this had none, I'll divide by five? Why? This is based on no mathematical strategy other than a guess. So divided by five is $11.6 million
Breaking and Entering – Limited Release. $1.5 million.
