(andPOP) - This week should be another big one at the box office, with several new releases (four of which andPOP has reviewed and can be access on our
Entertainment page).
Here are my predictions for the new releases.
The Messengers: Not a strong cast but it has significant advertising dollars being spent and it's a horror. Horrors are usually winners at the box office. I'm going to say $11 million.
Because I Said So: This has bomb written all over it. A chick flick with Mandy Moore and Diane Keaton that is getting bad reviews across the board. The only question is how low should I go? I'm going to say $5.5 million.
Factory Girl: A lot of buzz, but that doesn't always translate into big numbers. Sienna Miller has been doing as many interviews as she can, though Hayden Christensen has been nowhere to be seen. Limited release, let's say $5 million.
Partition: It's being released in Canada, so this is an N/A
