The 61-year-old Brit beat SOPHIA LOREN, 72, to the title. The silver screen siren came second, followed by 57-year-old MERYL STREEP and DAME JUDI DENCH, 72 in third and fourth and DIANE KEATON, 61, in fifth.
JACK NICHOLSON, 69, is the sexiest male star - followed by SIR SEAN CONNERY, 76, ROBERT REDFORD, 70, CLINT EASTWOOD, 76 and 60-year-old DANNY GLOVER.
More than 2,000 users of Lovefilm.com were surveyed.
