(andPOP) - PINK FLOYD rocker ROGER WATERS is tired of behaving like a "snotty kid" and trying to look on the bright side of life.

The 63-year-old concedes getting older has helped change his negative take on life and he's more inclined to "act nicely" towards other people.

He says, "I'm not misanthropic at all. I see glimmers of hope.

"I have to say, though, as I have grown older and dealt with one or two of my specific personal psychological, philosophical problems, I found it easier myself to be nicer to people than I used to be when I was a snotty kid, a snotty young man. Which is good."
