Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - It may be called the "West Coast Winter Tour" but Jack's Mannequin is definitely not sticking only to sunny California this February.
The band, headed by Something Corporate's Andrew McMahon, has announced it is hitting the road again on a headlining tour in '07 that will take them to 16 cities over 17 dates across North America. Jack's Mannequin is currently fresh off a tour supporting Panic! At The Disco.
In a blog posted on the band's MySpace page, McMahon said the tour will be hitting cities the band missed on its headlining "Tour for the Cure" (which raised money for cancer research) earlier this year. "I really think you are going to like some of the things we have up our sleeves," McMahon added. "Production is going to be bigger than ever and I am really thrilled about the opening acts that are joining us."
Opening for the band are Head Automatica and The Audition. The tour kicks off February 3 at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre and closes in New York City on February 28 at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
