(andPOP) - British balladeer James Blunt has topped yet another chart this week, this time for the most requested song at funerals and memorial services in the UK.

CBC.com reports that according to a survey released Monday by the Bereavement Register, Blunts song, "Goodbye my Lover," came in just befor fellow brit Robbie Williams' hit, "Angels."

The comes off his bestselling 2005 album Back to Bedlam, which is also responsible for the formidible falsetto's most popular tune, "You're Beautiful."

The Bereavement Registar is a group that works to remove peoples names from mailing databases.

The survay also found that 51 per cent of people have thought about playing aspecific song at their own funeral, and a further 79 per cent of those people habe discussed their choice with family or friends.

The poll looked at 5,000 people and found that, although there were a few classic pieces in the top 20, like "Danny Boy" and "Pie Jesu," the majority of songs preferred were fairly recent pop tunes.
