(andPOP) - Janet Jackson is giving her fans the chance to design the cover artwork for her upcoming album, "20 Years Old."
The contest is being put on by Jackson and Yahoo!, with fans choosing between 33 pictures of the singer to rework into a cover. The preselected images and other details are available at
designme.janetjackson.com.
According to a press release, Janet will choose her favourite four entries to appear on selected copies of the album. Sixteen other finalists will be rewarded with Jackson's entire album catalogue on CD.
The album and its title are meant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Jackson's breakthrough album, 1986's "Control." For her new record, Jackson teamed up once more with her collaborators from the "Control" sessions, Jimmy "Jam" Harris and Terry Lewis.
The first single from the album, "Call on Me," features Nelly and was released on June 19.
