(andPOP) - It's a clash of rock titans as Aerosmith and Motley Crue prepare to hit the road - together. The two bands will embark on their first joint U.S. tour this fall.

The "Route of All Evil" tour kicks off Sept. 14 in Holmdel, N.J. and runs to Nov. 24 in West Palm Beach, Fla. Fans can purchase pre-sale tickets now through Aerosmith's Aero Force One fan club.

The tour will mark Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's return to the stage after undergoing throat surgery this past spring. The newly-reunited Motley Crue, meanwhile, will continue to tour with its original four members. The band has been selling out a number of shows on their reunion tour.

The "Route of All Evil" tour dates, according to Reuters:
