MMVAs Notes: Paris, Tori and More

(andPOP) - If you watched Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards, you saw some major star presenters and some awesome performances. Here are some of thing things you didn't see:

-Paris Hilton and Tori Spelling were rumoured to be in a major feud. But the two were all smiles when they passed eachother in the halls of the Chum building, posing together for photos.

-k-os wasn't nominated this year, nor did he appear on the telecast, but he was in the building hanging out all night with Metric.

-Howie D of the Backstreet Boys was a last-minute addition to the presenter's list. He was on hand to promote an artist named George, who he is co-managing.

-According to one source who knows what he's talking about, and confirmed by another, MuchMusic was hoping to land Christina Aguilera as a performer and it almost happened.

-Paris Hilton spent part of Saturday shopping in Yorkville. Despite a disguise ? a black wig under a baseball hat ? she was followed around by autograph hounds and fans wanting a photo. She obliged.

-Though she didn't appear on the MMVAs, Vanessa Minnillo took advantage of an invitation to stock up at the gift lounge. Her new man Nick Lachey went to the gift lounge by himself. After the awards, they walked into Ultra Supper Club separately, but inside, spent little time talking to anyone else.

-Shawn Ashmore brought along his brother Aaron, not his girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg

-When Buck 65 walked into the press room, all but three photographers were snapping away at Paris as she answered reporters' questions. Poor Buck.

-Our man inside the Gift Lounge told us who was naughty and who was nice. Simple Plan, Metric, The Trews and Theory of a Deadman were very respectful, appreciative and loved getting the free shwag. Tori Spelling was also very nice. Elisha Cuthbert was surprisingly "street." Hedley embarrassed fellow humans by acting crazy. Rihanna and Nelly Furtado didn't want their pictures taken, while Paris seemed spaced out and borderline rude.
