Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - After two years, Dennis Farina is set to leave NBC's hit crime show "Law & Order", Canadian Press reports.
Farina joined the cast in 2004 to replace Jerry Orbach, who left the show for another "Law & Order" spin-off, "Trial By Jury", and died later that year. Farina played Detective Joe Fontana.
Farina isn?t the only cast member to leave "Law & Order" this season either.
Assistant district attorney Alexandra Borgia, played by Annie Parisse, was killed off in the season finale, which aired earlier this month.
"Law & Order" is known for its cast changes, which happen very frequently (and usually only with the assistant D.A.s) on the show.
A spokesperson for "Law & Order" did not reveal who would be replacing Farina and Parisse.
