Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Ashlee Simpson has announced tour dates through November to promote her just-released CD I Am Me.
While all current dates are in American cities, expect Simpson to make an international tour of it.
The Oct. 28 performance is a make-up date for a Sept. 27 concert that was canceled because of Hurricane Rita. Tickets for the original performance are being honoured at the Stafford Centre.
The back-to-blonde Simpson released I Am Me on Tuesday with low expectations for herself.
She thinks it's better than her debut disc, Autobiography, and won't base it's success on how many copies are sold.
Simpson says I Am Me shows growth lyrically and vocally and she's happy with her work.
"I feel like I?ve become a lot more confident, just by things that I?ve gone through this year, like falling on my face and learning how to pick myself back up," Simpson said during a recent interview.
Before launching the upcoming tour, Simpson will appear as musical guest on Friday's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and on Monday's episode of "Ellen".
