(andPOP) - It?s fall and that means the weather is getting cooler and awards show season is kicking into high gear. As usual, the first one out the gate is the American Music Awards, this year airing live on ABC on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

The network announced a star-studded list of presenters yesterday who will take part in giving out 21 publicly voted awards in eight categories: Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip-Hop, Latin Music, Adult Contemporary, Alternative Music, and Contemporary Inspirational.

Joining previously-announced performers Mariah Carey, Kenny Chesney, and Rob Thomas on stage to hand out the hardware are: Lance Armstrong, Toni Braxton, Ryan Cabrera, Chingy, Delta Goodrem, Nick Lachey, Ludacris, John Mayer, Jesse McCartney, Sean Paul, ?The Simple Life?s? Nicole Richie, LeAnn Rimes, ?Phantom of the Opera?s? Emmy Rossum, ?American Idol?s? Ryan Seacrest, ?Jake in Progress?? John Stamos, Sugarland, Gretchen Wilson, and ?Night Stalker?s? Stuart Townsend and Gabrielle Union.

More presenters and performers are expected to be announced at a later date. Cedric the Entertainer is slated to host the 33rd annual music special from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
