(andPOP) - When Vivica A. Fox was asked to join the cast of "Missing," after the show's first season, she almost turned the role down.

Watch Interview

Fox is an A-list movie actress, having appeared in such films as Kill Bill, Ella Enchanted, and Why Do Fools Fall in Love. Joining a television show could be seen as a step backwards. But then she read some scripts and realized each hour episode is like a mini-movie.

She not only agreed to star in the show as a "kick ass" FBI agent, but she is also executive producer.

The third season of "Missing," her second, premieres this Sunday, Sept. 4, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Chum's A-Channels in Canada.

Vivica sat down with andPOP to talk about the show, her life, her career, and much more.

Come back later this week for an interview with Vivica's co-star, Caterina Scorsone.
