(andPOP) - Jennifer Aniston's place of comfort just turned into her worse nightmare when the news broke that Angelina Jolie and her two adopted children have moved into Brad Pitt's Malibu home.

After Pitt, 41, accompanied Jolie, 30, on her recent trip to Africa, where she adopted her second child, Jolie moved into Pitt's mansion with her children Maddox, 3, and six-month-old Ethiopian orphan Zahara last week.

Jolie has been seen taking Maddox to a nearby preschool twice this month, reported Us Weekly.

However, a source stated that, ?Angelina isn't living with Brad. She's just staying there.?

Whether moving in or just staying there, the two Malibu homes are only 20 minutes away from each other, which means it?s only a matter of time before the two women bump into each other. Scared of that happening, Aniston, 36, has been avoiding going to her Malibu home and spends her time in San Francisco.

"Jennifer will return soon from filming in Chicago and knows it's only a matter of time before she comes face to face with Angelina. But she wasn't prepared for it to be so close to home," said a friend quoted by the Sun.

Aniston rented her beachfront house to be closer to her neighbor and best friend Courteney Cox, after she filed for divorce from Pitt.

Aniston and Pitt split up in January, around the time when it was rumored that Jolie and Pitt got a little too close when filming the movie "Mrs. & Mr. Smith."
