Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Paulina Gretzky is following in the footsteps of her mother, not father.
The 16-year-old, whose father is hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, will be featured on the cover of Flare Magazine in August.
Her mother - then Janet Jones - was featured on the cover of Flare in June 1988, a month before becoming Janet Gretzky.
"I was a little nervous but was very excited to begin modeling," says Paulina, who is also pursuing a singing and acting career.
"Paulina has a real passion for singing, acting as well as modeling, so Janet and I have always encouraged her to work hard and follow her dreams," Wayne said in a press release.
Paulina recently shot scenes for the upcoming film Alpha Dog, starring Bruce Willis and Justin Timberlake.
