Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - One would think that on a show about plane crash survivors trapped on an island, the only casting changes would be when people die. But Lost has found a way to add Michelle Rodriguez.
Rodriguez appeared on the Lost season finale in May in a flashback scene, but ABC has now added her as a permanent member of the cast and will be seen when the second season air starting in September.
She played Ana-Lucia Cortez in the finale, and was shown talking to Jack, played by Matthew Fox, at an airport bar.
But just how will she surface on the island? Some possible scenerios:
-she was kidnapped by the "others" when the plane crashed
-the other half of the plane could have crashed somewhere else on the island
-she could be located where the hatch leads
This will be the first full-time television work for Rodriguez. She has appeared in such films as "Blue Crush," "Fast and the Furious," "S.W.A.T.," and "Girlfight."
