(andPOP) - On May 24, four years and two days after releasing her debut album,
Nikka Costa will release her sophomore album, "can'tneverdidnothin."
The wait has been long, but as Costa explains, understandable. She recorded the album but wasn't happy with how it sounded, so she went back to the studio and redid the whole thing. The result: a ravishing mix of funk and rock, something "to the left of mainstream" as she says.
