Michael Jackson's trial may have hit the mid-point as the prosecution in his Santa, Maria California, child molestation case are expected to rest this week.
Court will resume today, after a three-day break. Friday's session was cancelled by Judge Rodney Melville after witnesses became unavailable. One former security guard was arrested for investigation of robbery, and the judge will still allow him to testify.
After the prosecution rests, in perhaps this, its ninth week, the defense attorneys will call on their witnesses. Macaulay Culkin, the Home Alone actor, is expected to testify that he was not sexually assaulted by Jackson, despite what was heard from witnesses in the past two weeks.
Jackson faces 10 charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
