Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Irv Gotti, CEO of the Inc. (formerly Murder Inc.), is facing charges of conspiracy and money laundering, as the FBI says he and his brother were part of a drug-dealing operation that resulted in three deaths.
Gotti, whose real name is Irving Lorenzo, and his brother Christopher Lorenzo, surrendered to the FBI Wednesday and were released on $1 million bonds after pleading not guilty in a Brooklyn federal court.
The FBI charged them with conspiring with Kenneth McGriff, a known heroin dealer. McGriff was charged with killing three men.
"No way, in any way, shape or form have I done anything wrong, except make great music that the people seem to love, and that's all that I'm guilty of," Gotti said as he left the court, reports the Washington Post.
Authorities revealed that more than $1 million was dropped off at the label's offices in Manhattan.
The Inc. is responsible for such acts as Ja Rule and Ashanti.
The Lorenzo brothers face up to 20 years in jail. Their next court date in March 18.
