(andPOP) - It appears as though veteran actor Samuel L. Jackson, (S.W.A.T., Shaft) who currently can be seen in the inner-city drama "Coach Carter," wants nothing to do with co-starring opposite 50 Cent in Jim Sheridan's "Locked and Loaded." The film foretells a semi-autobiographical account of the rapper's rise from drug dealer to rap mogul.

In reference to turning down the role in "Locked," contactmusic.com quotes Jackson as saying, "I like listening to 50 Cent and I can groove to his music but I don't want to groove to him on screen, just yet. Maybe if he does five movies and he shows some talent."

This is an interesting opinion that one cannot help but notice singles out 50 due to Jackson's long history of working on screen with rappers. Most recently in "S.W.A.T." with LL Cool J, and in 2005's "XXX 2" with Ice Cube.
