(andPOP) - Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado, Keshia Chante, k-os, and Swollen Members will perform at the "Urban Aids" benefit concert in Toronto on November 29.

Organized by Towa Beer, president of Transl8tor Marketing, the concert is aimed at raising awareness of the HIV and Aids epidemic, and will raise money for the Stephen Lewis Foundation, The Teresa Group, and one of Keys' charities, Keep a Child Alive.
Chante got involved after learning about the staggering figures connected with young people.
"I was reading the statistics, and I saw that so many people my age were fighting for it and going throw so many problems in Africa," Chante, 17, recently told andPOP. "You can watch commercials and you can hear about it on the radio all the time, but you sit there and flip the channel and don?t pay attention.
"It's time for us to step up as a Canadian community and do something so this is my chance to do it," she added.
The three-hour concert will be held at the Ricoh Coliseum.
