Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Eminem's fourth album, "Encore," will be released on November 12, four days earlier that his label, Interscope, had planned.
A press release sent out today by the label says the move was because of "rabid demand."
"This is something we have been anticipating," said Steve Berman, the label's head of sales and marketing. "Once we had all of our pieces together we started a discussion as to whether Encore should come early. We knew there would be a tremendous demand for this album. On our end, we were ready...we just had to press the button on the date."
Two versions will be released, a regular one and a collector's edition, which features special packaging and a free ringtone.
His last album, "The Eminem Show," was also moved up a few days when it was leaked to the internet.
