(andPOP) - The Music's first album was driven by hype. For two years, they had that effervescent buzz that the record labels crave for, but which makes bands cringe. The UK-quartet made the rounds of the late-night shows, received good reviews across the board, and even was acclaimed as "potentially the most important group since Oasis" by NME.

Here's where the voice comes in and says, "And then the worst happened." Except, that didn't happen for The Music. The album was a success, the buzz didn't backfire, and the group members have return with their second album, "Welcome to the North," Oct. 19.

andPOP caught up with guitarist Adam Nutter on a recent trip to Toronto. Watch the interview to hear Adam speak about making the new album, non-stop touring, plus much more.
