The multitalented queen of teens Hilary Duff will be in Toronto September 7 to celebrate her 16th birthday, and at the same time, raising money for various children's charities.
Duff, who has the number one album in Canada this week and is star of the Lizzie McGuire TV show and movie, will not be accepting any fees for her appearances. Funds are being raised for Kids With A Cause, The Hospital For Sick Children, and Park Lane Project.
The first event will be a "High Tea," where Duff will spend two hours with 100 people, talking, taking photos, and eating cake.
She will then be part of a "Charity Challenge," featuring such entertainers as: Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Allison Mack (Smallville), Spencer Breslin (The Kid, Cat in the Hat), Orlando Brown (That's So Raven), and Jessica Simpson's sister Ashlee (7th Heaven).
Also appearing will be cast members from Lizzie McGuire as well as her sister, Haylie.
