(andPOP) - The master of the mixtape, DJ Kayslay, enlists an all-star cast for "The Streetsweeper Volume 1."

Growing up in New York, Kayslay, known as Dez in the 80s, was known as a graffiti king for his art. In the 90s, he focused on making mix-tapes, but when the RIAA cracked down on the illegal tapes, he began making promotional tapes for New York music outlets. Artists would come to Kayslay to be included on one of his tapes, whether hosting a tape or supplying exclusive freestyles.

The who's who of hip-hop is on the album including Eminem, 50 Cent, Nas, Fat Joe, The Lox, Mobb Deap, Redman, Busta Rhymes, Keith Murray, Cam'Ron, Wyclef Jean, Scarface, Foxy Brown, Amerie, Jagged Edge, and the list keeps going. Even rival DJ Clue appears on a track.

The album is proof of Kayslay's reputation a legend. While most songs are hardcore with a take-no-prisoner attitude, there are the tracks like "Too Much For Me" with Amerie, Foxy Brown, Baby, and Nas, and "Seven Deadly Sins" with Angie Martinez and Vita, that are fine for radio.

Basketball has Rucker Park. Hip-hop has DJ Kayslay.
