(andPOP) - Music lovers of all genres might be interested in taking a look at the Grammy Awards this year, just to see the performances. Country, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, and just about every other type of music will be showcased this Sunday in New York. Here is a run down of what you can expect:

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel: Although this performance is not confirmed, it almost a safe bet that the duo will be performing. Earlier this week, a publicist denied that they would be touring together, but did not deny that they will team up on Sunday.

'N Sync: The 5 members haven't performed together since April. They will pay tribute to the Bee Gees, like they sometimes do at their concerts. Expect to hear a variety of some of the Bee Gees greatest hits.

Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow: They will reportedly perform Crow's ""You're An Original." Don't be surprised if they go into their hit song "Picture." Lenny Kravitz was supposed to duet with Crow, but Rock is filling in.

Ashanti: If she pulls it off, this performance could take her to the next level. She will be performing "Dreams," and will begin on a hydraulic lift and descend to the ground where she will be accompanied by a full backup band, chorus, and even a children's chorus. Sounds like something Mariah Carey would try. This mega-costing performance might steal the show. But beware: where there is Ashanti, there is Ja Rule. However, Ja might decide to stay away from her performance for the Grammys, so Ashanti could have the spotlight all to herself.

Vanessa Carlton and James Taylor: She will be playing "A Thousand Miles" and will then somehow be joined by James Taylor. They might perform together, or separately, but they will be in the same segment. Yo Yo Ma will also be present.

Coldplay with members of the New York Philharmonic: An interesting combination of these 2, but it could work.

Elvis Costello, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, and Steve Van Zandt: They will pay tribute to Joe Strummer of the Clash by performing ?London Calling.? Costello, Springsteen, and Grohl will share vocal duties.

No Doubt: Complete with a drum riser, the band will perform a medley of "Underneath It All" and "Hella Good."

The Dixie Chicks: Expect a preview of how they will perform on their recently announced summer tour.

Eminem with The Roots: These two artists will team up for the first time ever. They will perform ?Lose Yourself,? Eminem?s hit.

Faith Hill: Country lovers are happy they have Hill, but where's Shania? Practicing for the Junos?

Norah Jones: The buzz in New York is all about Norah Jones, who is rocking the top of the charts even though her album is about a year old. She will perform "Don't Know Why" with a 4-piece band.

Avril Lavigne: Expect the skater girl to try something different, perhaps showcase her voice a little more. "I Need You" is a safe bet, but a medley is an almost surety.

John Mayer: Whatever the talented young Mayer will do, he'll impress. Mayer has never had such a high-profile opportunity to get his name out there.

Nelly featuring Kelly Rowland: Nelly will start with "Hot in Herre," his hit single, and will then be joined by Kelly to perform "Dilemma." They key here is how high Nelly will be off the ground, and how much fire will be shown on the screens behind him.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band: Some people expect him to win the big prize, but most people are just happy to hear him play.
