(andPOP) - Add "Rockstars" to the reality music-based television shows coming up in 2003. Groove Music Canada and Oceano Entertainment will head out across Canada, searching for "the ultimate band."

Bands can enter until December 31, 2002, on the Rockstars web site (rockstarsearch.com). Judges will be traveling to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Regina, London, and Halifax.

3 bands will battle it out in each city, and then from the 10 finalists, 1 band will be chosen as Canada's first "Rockstars." The battle will be taped in front of a live audience. The big winner will take home $100,000, a recording contract, and more.

Judges announced so far include Tara Slone from Joydrop, Robin Black, and Gil Moore.
