(andPOP) - As the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) continues to try and slow down or stop the trading of music online, top artists are signing on to an ad campaign that are aimed at doing the exact same thing.

Artists that have already signed onto the campaign include:
- Britney Spears
- Brian Wilson
- Eminem
- Stevie Wonder
- Shakira
- Madonna
- P.O.D.
- Marilyn Manson
- 3 Doors Down
- Barenaked Ladies
- Elton John
- Gene Simmons
- Hootie and the Blowfish
- Vanessa Carlton
- Rush
- The Wallflowers

Expect to see several of these artists appearing in TV commercials or full page news paper ads beginning today.

On another note, the RIAA continues to battle in court and with congress on getting stricter laws passes to stop illegal downloads.
