Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Keanu Reeves has been cleared of any liability in a 2007 incident in which a celebrity photographer alleged he was struck by the actor's car.
A jury took just over an hour on Monday to decide that Alison Silva didn't have a case against the "Matrix" star, who attended the five-day trial.
Silva claimed in his lawsuit that he was hit by Reeves' Porsche as he was trying to take pictures of the actor in March 2007.
He said he suffered a broken wrist that left him unable to hold large cameras and asked for $711,974 in compensation for medical bills and other damages.
Reeves testified that he never hit Silva and that the photographer tripped and fell instead.
During the trial, a radiologist told jurors that Silva's wrist fracture appeared to be an old injury.
Jurors were also shown a video shot after the incident that showed Silva using his supposedly damaged hand to climb down a fence while trying to film Britney Spears.
Reeves will next appear in a remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still," which hits theatres next month.
