Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Britney Spears' comeback may have a little too much "Woman" for ABC to handle, as her video for "Womanizer", the first single from her forthcoming album "Circus", which premiered on 20/20 last Friday, was more heated than the network had hoped.
According to MTV News, the uncensored video, featured Britney lounging, nude, in a sauna, while her boyfriend showers. Since ABC didn't agree with the original clip, they obscured her body in the video with digitally added steam. However, the MTV version does not do so, thus it is more provocative.
In an interview on New York's Z100 radio station late last month, Britney said of the song, "['Womanizer' is] basically saying, 'We know what you're up to.' It's about guys cheating on girls. It's a girl anthem. That's why I like it. So, hopefully, the fans will see it that way too!"
