Newegg.com Launches Canadian Website

(andPOP) - Today e-retailer Newegg.com announced the launch of its Canadian website, www.newegg.ca. Newegg is currently a well-established e-retail service in the United States and China, according to a press release from the company.
Newegg’s award-winning site allows shoppers to search and compare a wide selection of high-tech products and also includes detailed product information, peer reviews and comments from experts in the field of technology.

Newegg is also able to ship over 99 per cent of its orders within 24 hours of purchasing a product, said a press release from he company. The company has won numerous award since its start in 2001, including the Computer Shopper’s Choice Award for the fifth consecutive year.

Newegg.ca is currently offering the majority of its core products, such as an extensive inventory of computer components/accessories, gaming and computer electronics, said the press release.

The press release also noted that the launch of this new e-retail website coincides with research that shows there is a difference in the growth of e-retail between Canada and the United States.

"The research often shows that Canadians are looking for and expecting more than what is currently offered by many online retailers in this country," said Andrea Hadley of eMetrics Canada, an industry forum for web analytics and marketing optimization in the press release from NewEgg. "Retailers such as Newegg can hope to capitalize on that gap by raising the bar for Canadian consumers and in the process earning their loyalty as customers."
