(andPOP) - The initial lineup for the 16th annual Halifax Pop Explosion has been announced, with Islands, Holy Fuck, Two Hours Traffic and a reunited Inbreds among the performers.
Other acts who will play the festival include Wu-Tang Clan member GZA, Monotonix, Brutal Knights, Woodhands, Retribution Gospel Choir, Ruby Coast, Scarce and Ron Sexsmith with Symphony Nova Scotia.
More performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
The event, which showcases up-and-coming music acts as well as art, media and pop culture exhibitions, will take place in various venues around the city from Oct. 21 to 25.
