Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Britney Spears’ lawyer released a statement Wednesday saying that the star will not extend the restraining order she has on former friend and manager Sam Lutfi.
According to MSN.com, Spears’ attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III, told the Associated Press, "Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama 'Sam' Lutfi, now or at anytime in the future."
Earlier this year a restraining order was issued against Lutfi in a Los Angeles court. He was ordered to stay at least 250 yards away from Spears and her homes.
Spears’ mother Lynne also filed court papers earlier this year claiming that Lutfi kept Spears hostage in her own home, drugged her and took over her finances.
According to Ingham, the court didn’t feel the need to extend the restraining order because Spears’ father now has court appointed control over his daughter’s estates and finances.
