Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Less Than Jake will take the sounds of ska punk across Canada come September, with a couple of homegrown talents in tow.
Accompanying the Gainesville, FL quintet on their cross-country tour will be Montreal's The Real Deal and Toronto's The Flatliners (the latter for most of the dates), as well as Huntington Beach, CA's Reel Big Fish.
The bands will get things started at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on Sept. 18 and then head east, wrapping up at Quebec City's Imperial on Sept. 28.
Tickets for the Canadian jaunt go on sale this week.
The five-piece Less Than Jake are hitting the road in support of their seventh studio album "GNV FLA," which hit stores last month.
The Real Deal are touring behind their second full-length effort "Hungover, But Dead Sober," released in Canada on April 22, while The Flatliners are backing their 2007 release "The Great Awake."
Meanwhile, Reel Big Fish fans will likely hear some tunes off of the group's sixth and most recent studio album, 2007's "Monkeys for Nothin' and the Chimps for Free."
