(andPOP) - "Madden NFL 09" will offer more than football action when it hits stores Aug. 12 -- the EA Sports video game will also reveal new tracks from some big acts.

The in-game soundtrack features Franz Ferdinand's "Lucid Dreams," which will be included in the Scottish band's upcoming as-yet-untitled album, due in February.

Gamers will also get an advance listen to Gym Class Heroes' "I'm Home," which will appear in the New York foursome's newest album "The Quilt," due Sept. 9.

In total, the 'Madden NFL 09' soundtrack consists of 26 songs covering rap, pop-punk and rock. Canadian reggae rapper Kardinal Offishall contributes "Burnt" featuring Lindo P., while Busta Rhymes and Linkin Park appear with their collaboration "We Made It."
